Clients provide the following IRS Federal Tax Return information:
W-2: wages, income
1099: income, interest, dividends, stocks, etc.
Brokerage statements: stock, bond or investment transactions
Closing statements (real estate transactions)
Form(s) 1098 (mortgage interest) and property tax statements
K-1: income / loss (partnerships, S Corporations, etc.)
Health Insurance statement: 1095 A, 1095-B) or 1095-C
All supporting documents (schedules, checkbooks, etc.)
Tax notices received from the IRS (or other taxing authorities)
Return your completed Tax Organizer to our office (via U.S. mail, email, SmartVault or drop off) by March 15, 2022 and enter to win a Starbucks gift card! Organizers and tax documents received after April 1 may require filing an extension with the IRS. If you think you will need an extension, no worries! Just let us know and we will file an extension with the IRS on your behalf -- giving you until October as part of our client services.
